Webolutionary Half Time On Line Partay As Promised

It may be a few days late .. but here it is as promised the webolution half time online partay for those who couldn't make it due to random other reasons like desk shifts!

The winner of the recipary competition was Karen V for chocolate pavalover. Kadie's mum aka HD made the pavs (minus the chocolate) because KD and Shanksie went to the Mount to see the notorious Brown Caps (shame about the rain)!

Everyone who came won a pressie (except me..apparently I am on the committee and it would be a conflict of interest)...I am not daunted though I will blog on!

The Wee competition was hot, with Allison and Aurora (the double A's) coming out as champs!

Excitment mounted when our special guest the one and only original webolutionary Kaye Hunter turned up and took over my guitar to play the webolution song!

Well done Kadie...great effort getting us all over the half way line with a bit of help from your friends...AP and KV to name a couple of the great supporters.

Roll on full time ceremony on 13th March 2009..it promises to be wonderfully, weird, wacky and wewarding!

what a welcoming start to wednesday at willy ...a woverly breakie with weally nice people..eggs the order of the day!! this is a very uncreative post..the pictures are ok though!!!

the party is near ....the half time party is coming...oh no I have to conquer RSSSSSS...katie told me and then she asked me 'are you listening to me?' and i have to confess in this public forum that i did not listen 100% and now I stil have to conquer RSS to get invited to the party....!!!

Mem Fox - She's a hero taking literacy back to Zero!!

what an outing, all the way to Coburg library but it was worth it....we actually got to hear our real life hero Mem Fox talking it up..talking up repetition, talking up rhymes, talking up loving those little cute babies and reading to them, rhyming with them and kissing them on the nose and toes!

Jenelle and I didn't even mind singing rhymes and lining up to get our books signed (twice) we did spend a bit of money on Green Sheeep and Ten Little fingers and Ten little toes and Jenelle with the golden fingers..well she got an original signed book because Mem made a mistake and had to turn it into a star...

apparently I was the first person who had knelt at her feet...but I do love those books of hers..Green Sheep and Possum Magic and Wombat Devine and Koala Lou, I do Love you..ahhhhhh!!
